The stockings were hung by the chimney with care…

If you’re like me, you’re used to getting candy and your typical drugstore items in your stocking every year. Just as you thought, a chocolate covered marshmallow Santa Clause, a new toothbrush (which seems appropriate), colored pens, a stress ball, and of course, socks, which are not only a filler at the bottom of the stocking, but they also give great shape to your stocking. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not like we don’t all need these things, and I’ll admit it, I love a chocolate covered marshmallow Santa Clause, but wouldn’t it be great to get something different this year, a little surprise that fits neatly in the stocking, and that won’t be eaten an hour later, but cherished for years to come? No, I’m not saying you should stuff your own stocking, although I’ve seen it done before. I remember my mother opening a gift she still claims was from “Santa's little helper.”

This year, add the extra surprise to the stocking tradition, instead of expecting socks as the bottom of the stocking, they can pull out a little box with a sparkling pair of earrings, or a handcrafted glass bead keychain. At kincaidesigns.com, we have affordable earrings from $16.00, and adorable glass frog bead keychains from $22, that are perfect for stuffing the stockings. If you are hoping for some jewelry in YOUR stocking, drop the hint to your spouse, fiancé or boyfriend and send them over to us and you just might find a surprise in your stocking too.
